The Graduate School of Child Development and Education aims to provide high quality education to science practitioners, Research Master's students and PhD students in the pedagogical and educational sciences.

Research Master's programme in Educational Sciences: Parenting, Education, and Child Development

This two-year master's programme integrates pedagogical research and part of educational research. The programme is meant for students with a bachelor's degree in Pedagogical Sciences, Educational Sciences, or with a bachelor's degree in an adjacent field (e.g., Psychology, Sociology), who want to specialise in this specific field of research.

Master's programmes in Child Development and Education

The master of Education studies the way people learn and develop, which methods are best used to encourage that, and in what way policy making can contribute to training and education.
The master of Pedagogical Sciences consists of four tracks: Studies of Child Rearing and Family Support, Studies of Special Education in the Family and at School, Studies of Forensic Child and Youth Care and Children's Rights.

About the Graduate School

The GSCDE' immediate targets centre around the academic training of pedagogues and orthopedagogues and education science professionals. The primary focus is on differentiating between the follow-up Master's on the one hand and the Research Master's programme and PhD programme on the other.
